Eternal Life Insurance

Most people buy life insurance. They want to insure their families in the event that when they die, their families will have the finances to go on living without them. Health insurance is taken so that when the person comes down with an illness, hospitalization and treatment will be paid for by the insurance company.

Now, many people also sell insurance for a living. The more insurance policies they sell, the more they earn by way of commissions.  However, when the insurance agent stops working, after a while, the commissions stop coming in.

For network marketers (the business of the 21st century according to Robert Kiyosaki), the more people these network marketers have under their organization, the more people they help, the more money they earn, and they also have residual income,  so that they are financially secure. I am a network marketer, and so I understand how this process works.  We work hard now, and we will eventually be rewarded for our hard work, even when we stop working.

Now, let us consider the issue of eternal life. So many of us are so focused on earthly life, to the detriment of our eternal life. Have we ever stopped to consider where we are on the road to eternal life? Have we made sure our children are supervised, taught, and instructed that eternal life success is the ultimate goal of life on earth?

The usual question asked of me is this, if our ultimate goal is heaven to be with God, why do we need to live on earth? The reason is that we have a purpose on earth before we go to heaven. We have to gather as many people as we can for the Lord God our Heavenly Father. We were given different talents and these talents will be used for the purpose of bringing as many people as we can to heaven, where everyone will be rewarded accordingly.

What I mean by this is that we get saved by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, as well as doing good works on earth, the foremost among which is winning souls for the Lord. If we just insure that only our souls will get to heaven, then that is a very selfish agenda. The most important thing is to work for God in getting people to know God, telling them about heaven, and the rewards that await them when they become believers and work for God.

This, I personally believe, is the eternal life insurance. This is the one of a kind insurance no one can do without. Everybody must have it! I urge you to get this insurance today, not only for yourself, but for your family and friends as well.

God bless!!! Long live the Great Commission!!!

Love God above all things!

Our Father in heaven loves us so much, it hurts Him to see His children choose perdition in the name of a few moments of pleasure. The world today is full of temptation to lure us away from the path of truth. The only way to stay in the path, is to get close to God by having a prayer hour and immersing ourselves in Scriptures. The Holy Bible is the only book we need to read if our time is limited to reading just one book. That book is the Holy Bible.

I suggest we start with this book if we have difficulty reading the entire Holy Bible: Bible Basics for Catholic: A New Picture…by John Bergama. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

John Bunyan’s Visions of Heaven and Hell

Many of us have read John Bunyan’s “Pilgrim’s Progress.” However, not many know of another book that is even more important, in my opinion, that is. I just learned about it while listening to “Trunews.”

The book is entitled: “Visions of Heaven and Hell.” It is a very short read.

I suggest everyone to read it and it is available online. This is the link:  http://www.freecdtracts.com/documents/visionsofheavenandhell.pdf

If you ever had doubts about heaven and/or hell, this book will tell you all you needed to know.

Cling to the Lord with all your might!

Cling to the Lord with all your might! Never, ever let go of the Lord, no matter what. In times of trouble and great distress, read this passage from the Bible:

Psalm 91

You who live in the secret place of Elyon, spend your nights in the shelter of Shaddai,
Saying to Yahweh, ‘My refuge, my fortress, my God in whom I trust!’
He rescues you from the snare of the fowler set on destruction;
He covers you with his pinions, you find shelter under his wings. His constancy is shield and protection.
Hou need not fear the terrors of night, the arrow that flies in the daytime,
The plague that stalks in the darkness, the scourge that wreaks havoc at high noon.
Though a thousand fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, you yourself will remain unscathed.
You have only to keep your eyes open to see how the wicked are repaid,
You who say, ‘Yahweh my refuge!’ and make Elyon your fortress.
No disaster can overtake you, no plague come near your tent;
He has given his angels orders about you to guard you wherever you go.
They will carry you in their arms in case you trip over a stone.
You will walk upon wild beast and adder, you will trample young lions and snakes.
Since he clings to me I rescue him, I raise him high, since he acknowledges my name.
He calls to me and I answer him: in distress I am at his side, I rescue him and bring him honour.
I shall satisfy him with long life, and grant him to see my salvation.’

In Times Like These

The end times are upon us. This can not be denied. Are we prepared?  An answer of , “I hope so,” is not good enough. We cannot gamble with the eternal destiny of our souls. It is with a certain amount of urgency that I write this blog today.

For starters, I am sharing three short prayers that I believe we should arm our family members with, as we start the day.

The Anima Christi (as dictated by Rev. Fr. Levi Burgos)

Soul of Christ, sanctify me

Body of Christ, save me

Blood of Christ, inebriate me

Water from the side of Christ, wash me

Passion of Christ, strengthen me

O good Jesus, hear me

Within Your wounds, hide me

Never let me be separated from You

From the malignant enemy, defend me

At the hour of death, call me

And bid me come to You

That I may praise You

In the company of Your saints

For all eternity, Amen.

Prayer to our Guardian Angel (thanks to my kindergarten teachers)

Angel of God, my guardian dear

To whom God’s love, commits me here

Ever this day, be at my side

To light and guide

To rule and guard, Amen.

Armor of God (excerpt from Linda Schubert’s excellent prayer book, “Miracle Hour”)

I put on God’s armor

to resist the devil’s tactics.

I stand my ground

with truth buckled around my waist

and integrity for a breastplate.

I carry the shield of faith

to put out the burning arrows of the evil one.

I accept salvation from God to be my helmet

and receive the Word of God

from the Spirit to use as a sword.

Amen.

I hope that the reader who decides to recite all three prayers daily, will find comfort knowing that he/she has Divine protection. God bless you!

Preparing for Heaven

I am writing this blog in preparation for our final destiny…heaven. Why is heaven so important? Heaven is important because of God. Without God, there is no heaven.

God created man to be with Him in heaven. However, because of original sin, we could not be with God until Jesus Christ died for us and washed away our sins with His Holy Blood. Many thanks to our merciful God, for not giving up on us.

We are not meant for hell. Hell is for the demons. However, if man decides to reject the salvation offered by Jesus, then his/her final destiny is the same as that of the demons…hell with its fire, worms, and brimstone.

Life on earth has many traps and temptations designed to trick man into rejecting eternal life that is lovingly offered by God. To avoid these traps, one must lead a prayerful life of conversing with God throughout the day.

I quote a favorite passage that has been on our wall for many years, “Life only is about getting close to God. Nothing else matters.”

I hope that in this blog, I can lead others to accept the loving call of God to be with Him in heaven.
