Babies are gifts from God

Babies are gifts from God. They should be treasured and welcomed joyfully. But why is it that these days, there are many laws that want to do away with babies? Why is population control being forced on the general population?

The people behind these laws forgot that they were babies themselves, and if these laws were passed before they were born, they would not be around if their parents decided not to have them. Just imagine a world without babies. Imagine also, a world without children’s laughter. These are the most joyful moments in life that money cannot buy.

There was a time when people wanted to have large families. These days, many people consider babies as burdens…another mouth to feed. The notion that there’s not enough food in the planet is baloney. If people shared and not hoard, there won’t be hunger at all. Furthermore, if people trust in God to provide for them supernaturally, this will happen.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, please pray for these babies who are at the mercy of the system.

Have a great week ahead.

Am I ready for Jesus?

Am I ready for Jesus?

1.) Have I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior? Check
2.) Was I baptized with water? Check
3.) Did I receive anointing of the Holy Spirit? Check
4.) Did I repent of my sins? Check
5.) Do I love God above all? Check
6.) Do I have a quiet place to retreat to and seek out God amidst the chaos of this world? Check
7.) Have I shared the wonderful news of Jesus’ second coming to save us from the pains of this world and giving us eternal life? Not as much as I want to.
8.) Am I getting ready and telling everyone who wants to listen that Jesus’ second coming is very near? I’m in the process.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Help me to spread the good news of salvation. Give me courage to proclaim the reality that not all roads lead to You. Help me refute the false belief and/or teaching that good people will go to heaven even if they do not believe in Jesus. This I ask in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, mankind’s Lord and Savior, Amen.

The Act of Contrition

The Act of Contrition

“O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of Heaven, and the pains of Hell; but most of all because I love Thee, my God, Who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen.”

This prayer is recited during confession of our sins. However, we also pray this before going to sleep.
